Before this transaction, Celotex was wholly owned by Saint-Gobain, which had acquired the British Celotex business in 2012 and managed the brand and manufacturing operations in the United Kingdom[2][3]. The transaction structure is designed so that Saint-Gobain will gradually exit ownership once the transition period concludes[4].
